The Rooster and the Sun
“Cock-a-doodle-doo!” the rooster crows.
“Let us get up,” the rooster calls to the sun. “It is morning,” the rooster says.
“What do you need from me?” the sun asks. “I need light from you,” the rooster answers.
“What are you doing?” the sun asks. “I am washing my face,” the rooster answers.
“What are you doing?” the sun asks. “I am sweeping,” the rooster answers.
“What are you doing?” the sun asks. “I am doing my laundry,” the rooster answers.
“What are you doing?” the sun asks. “I am looking for food,” the rooster answers.
“Return home. It is dark,” the sun says. "I am going to bed,” the rooster answers.
The sun sleeps behind the mountain. The rooster sleeps inside the house.
The sun and the rooster are fast asleep.The moon and the stars come out!
