Khamsai’s Secret

Students clean the classroom.

But Khamsai doesn’t help his friends clean the classroom.

Khamsy asks Khamsai, "Are you sick?"

Khamsai answers, "I have a headache."

But Khamsai does not have a headache. He just pretends he does.

Keo insists Khamsai go to the doctor. Khamsai answers, "No, I want my mom to take me home."

Keo says, "Well then, let’s go tell the teacher so he can take Khamsai to his mother."

Khamsai cries out, "Don’t tell the teacher. I lied to you because I didn’t want to help you guys with the work."

"Now I don’t feel good that I did not help you guys out."

Khamsai says, "I'm sorry. I won't do this again. Let’s go! Let’s go clean up." Khamsai helps his friend carry the garbage basket.
