Excited for School

"Are you ready for the first day of school, Urgen?" Urmu asks. "I am ready, Nana," Urgen tells her sister.

Urmu and Urgen arrive at the school. They are excited. "The school looks huge," Urgen says.

Urmu and Urgen speak Tamang at home. The teacher speaks another language, Nepali. Urmu and Urgen do not understand him.

After school, Urmu says, "I do not understand the teacher's language. Do you, Urgen?" "No," Urgen replies.

Urmu and Urgen are less and less excited about school each day.

The teacher asks Urgen to read Nepali. Urgen cannot read it. Everyone laughs at him.
