The little duckling loved to explore. "Quack!" it said, as it waddled away from Mama Duck and its siblings.

It waddled into the tall, green grass. The grass was much taller than the little duckling!

The duckling wanted to find its family. But the tall grass looked the same everywhere. Buzz-buzz! A busy bee flew past its nose.

It heard a faint "Quack!" and waddled fast. But it was just a fluffy white cloud that looked like a duck, floating in the sky. A tiny ladybug landed on its beak.

Oh dear! The duckling stretched its neck up high, high, high. It could see something familiar!

It followed the tall cattail plant, all the way back to the pond. Mama Duck gave it a big, happy quack!
It's fun to explore new places, but always remember where your family is.
How did the little duckling find its way back to the pond?
