The Little Bird's New Branch

A big storm roared through the forest. Whoosh! The little bird's cozy nest tumbled down, down, down.

The little bird needed a new home quickly! It tried a twiggy branch, but it wobbled and shook like jelly. "Tweet! Too wobbly!" chirped the bird.

Next, the bird spotted a thick, strong branch. But a chattering squirrel already called it home, happily munching a nut!

"Tweet, tweet!" The bird saw a perfectly flat, safe-looking spot and landed softly. But the branch felt... odd.

The sun was dipping low, painting the sky orange and pink. The little bird knew it needed a real home, fast! It spied a tall, old oak tree with many strong, empty branches.

The little bird chose the very best branch, tucked safely against the trunk. Chirp, chirp! It gathered a new twig and started to build its nest, safe and sound.
