The little squirrel loved tasty acorns. Winter was coming!

He dug a hole and hid one! Then he found another. “Where did I put the first one?” he wondered. Swish! A fluffy cat’s tail whisked by.

“I must remember!” he thought. He found a very round acorn. He buried it under a pretty red leaf. Chirp! Chirp! A busy robin picked up the red leaf!

The squirrel sat down. “Hmm,” he thought. He had an idea! He found a shiny acorn. He tied a colorful ribbon to it and tied the ribbon to a big branch.

He tied more ribbons to more acorns! When winter came, he followed the ribbons. He found ALL his tasty acorns! Hooray!
It's good to find clever ways to remember important things.
