The little badger cub had heard whispers of the sweetest berries growing by the gurgling stream. "I must find them!" it thought, its whiskers twitching with excitement.

The cub bounded along the forest path, but a thicket of thorny bushes blocked its way. It tried to push through, but the sharp thorns pricked its nose.

“Ouch!” cried the cub. It looked around for another path and saw a quick brown squirrel easily dart into a tiny space between the bushes. The cub tried to squeeze through that same spot.

But the cub was too big! It wiggled and pushed, getting stuck between the branches. Then, a tiny mouse peeked out from under a leaf, squeaking and pointing its nose towards the ground.

The mouse was pointing to a tiny, dark tunnel hidden beneath the thicket! The cub hadn't noticed it before. It decided to try going under instead of through.

The cub wriggled into the dark tunnel, pushing with its strong paws. Soon, it popped out on the other side, right beside the gurgling stream and a patch of the most delicious, sweet berries!
Looking closely and trying a different way can help you overcome tough challenges.
What stopped the badger cub from reaching the berries at first?
